Here’s the second part to the horse story. After spending the bulk of our morning detouring to the stable, we decided to continue our search for that elusive playground in Pasir Ris Park. Also, it was part of our plan to tire them out to the point of complete exhaustion, which in gaming terms is called KO.
We asked around but nobody seemed to be sure exactly where it was, and the most helpful answer was that it was too far to walk. After circling round Pasir Ris a couple of times, we finally found it.
The last time I came here was a decade ago, where the only structure was the iconic spiderweb, you know, the rope climbey thing that looks like a spiderweb. Now it’s a massive playground with fancy thingamajigs that we didn’t know how to operate. I mean, like this spinning satellite dish. Anyone knows what this is for? The husband got on and almost couldn’t get off because you can’t make it stop the moment you start moving.
And this works like a see-saw, except more technologically advanced.
There were also the usual playground regulars.
My favorite? These.
In a nutshell, this park gets my vote for the best (free) outdoor playground in Singapore. And the cherry on top is how it’s so shady with all the trees so you can just set up your mats and read a book while the kids go crazy. Everybody wins.
Also, did I mention it’s 5 minutes from home? Provided I don’t get lost again.

Oh yah! That reminds me the first time my mum and I went looking for this playground, it took us 1 whole hour! There are like tons of signages with the words “Pasir Ris Park” and none says if its with the playground or not.. Haha.
Your kids are so cute! =)
Exactly, there’s like 4-5 different carparks and you have to park the car and get out to search each one for it. But we know better now, it’s at carpark B or C, I think.
Hmmm, it really must be hidden! I have to go to the park for research and I’ve never seen the playground, ever! Where is it near?

The carpark is along Elias Road, either carpark B or C.
